I did not get the connection between disk formatting and fixing memory
leaks.. there could be.. I am not saying that it is impossible .. but how
would _you_ knwo that [esp. as a newbie ;-) <j/k>].. i mean memory is not
like Cl2 which leaks out of the union carb .. etc..
try the KDE file manager called 'kfm'.. it is fast, sleek, you can open 12
windows with a 32 mb machine.. no problems.. only thing it doesn't suport
certain advanced fetching methods and javascript.. but for pure html/php
pages.. it is cool.. the rendering is very soothing..
