I AM GETTING suparstitious. I have my home BOX with same configuration (K6II
400) but ... these things never happened....  AND surprisingly, the CPU is
dammmm cool even in the hotdays.......

Test the jumper setting of ur M'board and also check the "bus" speed and cpu
multiplier setting at ur motherBoard.
