Subject: no foiltex
hi,
surprisingly latex coming with rh6.2 did not have foiltex package with
it. So yesterday i downloaded it from ctan site ( not an rpm ). It came
with the *.sty, *.cls, *.clo *.def files; with the instruction to copy
them to the current LATEXINPUT directory.
I copied them to /usr/share/texmf/latex/base. But I still cannot use
foiltex, though i can use other packages in the ...../base files.
On the other hand with the foil realted files on the same
directory as the tex document I am able to use foil.I must be missing some
PATH setting, but dont know which.
