Hi all,
Sorry for bothering the list again.
In Linux it seems that each time the swapper(kswapd) runs, it will
decerement the age of pages by one. Similarly all pages which are touched
have their ages incremented by 3. Now pages can have a maximum age of 20.
Why is this so, ie. why can't the number be increased further? When pages
reach their min. page(0), they get swapped out. Likewise does any special
action occur when they reach the maximum age(i.e 20)?
        TIA,
