Hello:
If you drop down from a higher resolution to a lower resolution ie. from
1024x768 to 800x600, a virtual screen will automatically appear. This
cannot be avoided. The virtual screen will be disabled only when current
resolution equals maximum /valid/ resolution as defined in XF86Config.
BTW: The keyword for virtual resoution is "Virtual" and not "Viewport"
