Not many things to do now. Try removing the whole directory, exctracting again from the
archive and start from scratch. You must have done './configure' so many times that
it's
easily possible to have couple of make files out of sync. Now you know the sequence in
which commands work. Write them down. Reextract the archive and see if it works...
