I have used Satyam a month before from bangalore.

the .fetchmailrc script should be like this

poll imap.satyam.net.in proto IMAP-LOGIN:
        no dns
 user  <your username> password <your password>
        flush
--
try by giving fetchmail -a -k -v command  after you are connected to the
ISP
and you will be able to see the log.
Sendmail  has to be configured appropriately for sending mails.  I need
more
info on XXX if I have to help more.
