hi mohit !
if you are just conencting to your ISP via a dialup/modem , then you
do not need to bother much about fancy DNS stuff
vi /etc/resolv.conf
search cal.vsnl.net.in # or whatever suites your fancy
nameserver 202.54.9.1
nameserver 202.54.1.30

the IP addresses will of course vary

Just check , are you being able to ping the VSNL/ISP servers ?
HAve you set up the names of the servers correctly in KMail/Kppp.
Are you being able to visit sites on the net, http access is OK ?

[o]hi,
[o] I set up KMail as you had told but still the "server
[o]not found" error occurs. How to set up
[o]the DNS entry. I didn't select DNS during RedHat installation.
