I have now tried to compile exim 3.16, 3.14 and 3.13.
Every time make fails with the error : No rule to make
lookups/lookups.a and aborts.
Anyone know of solutions? I have gone through the exim mailing list archives and
searched on google already. Someone has noted this problem with 3.16, but no solutions
were profferred in reply.
[Deal is, we are trying to replace sendmail with something simpler, so I am trying out
exim and qmail. Any other MTAs which support LDAP? Preferably easy to configure. Must
support virtual domains. No beta releases please, this has to run a mission critical
mail server]
