Hi List,
This morning, I installed the RH 6.2 from the PCQ CD and went on to upgrade
the kernel as the article in the last month's issue. Things went smooth
except that it gave me an error for "sound.o not found in file index". I
followed step after step guide. When it came to implementing lilo, the
command exited with an error saying that "initrd-2.2.14-12.img file or
directory not found". Well, it was not there at all. Before, I could ask for
help, my smart colleague issued a reboot command and bingo....Module
dependencies failed to stard and so did NFS lockd service.
What should I do next to get this server in shape...?
