Yes, We are using Mdaemon pop3 server here on NT.

Fetchmail gives the following error :

POP3 connection to 192.168.20.1 failed : Connection refused
Query status = SOCKET

One more strange thing I noticed. I have not put this NT server in DNS
setup, However even if I don't put an entry for this server IP 192.168.20.1
in /etc/hosts file ping works :-)!!!??

The Computer Name of NT server is : HO_NT_1
and Domain Name is : DEMPOS

In the email clients ( Eudora ) on win 98 smtp server is ho.dempos.com.
Mails are sent to the nt server with FROM address as ex. :
[EMAIL PROTECTED] and the server Masquarades it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] before
sending mail.
Dempos.mail is our domain from where the mailserver fetches mail on a
dialup line.

What should be the configuration on my linux box to pick up mail from the
NT server.

Thanks & Regards

Rajesh
