First of all, Rpm is about installing, upgrading and uninstalling packages
on Unices. If you want to install K Desktop Environment,(and not KDE menu
addtion), please follow the steps:

1. insert RedHat 6.x cd
2. mount /mnt/cdrom
3. rpm -Uvh /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/qt*.rpm --nodeps
3. rpm -Uvh /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/kde*.rpm

Uvh means U for upgrade, v for verbose and h for hashes ('#'). and --nodeps
is used for unconditional installing of packages.
