Whatever I am saying is based on those times when i refused to use outlook
and used telnet to speak (E)SMTP to send my mails ( ultimately they had
pity on me and gave me this shell that i use ;)
 Ok enough of that. As far as i can remeber ETRN is mostly a variant of
the TURN command which allows you to get all the mails qued for
*.somedomain.org i.e. it will get mails for foo.somedomain.org,
fo.bar.somedomain.org etc. 
  There's quite a high chance that i am wrong so please help me to get my
facts right. The most authentic place i think would be faqs.org -> rfc
section
