Unless you have static ips (and therefore leased lines) for all your offices,
or a centrally located server where all your mail is stored, sendmail + uucp
is your best option. If you think sendmail is too difficult to configure and
use, switch to something far easier - like say Exim.

DJ$w.Foo.Com in sendmail.cf - where foo.com is replaced by xxx.co.in
Also set DM xxx.co.in in sendmail.cf to masquerade as xxx.co.in
If you update sendmail to a more recent version (8.9.3 at least - though 8.11
is the current one) then it is far less painful to configure than 8.8.7 which
you are using now. It is also more secure, less prone to getting hacked /
spammed through than your current sendmail.
