Hate to say NO again, but there _IS_ a way to get the deleted files... I do 
not remember it exactly now, but AFAIK, you can use this method to retrieve 
at least text files ::

Provided that you have not over written anything yet, just try to find the 
file, which has a particular word, say "Linux" using find. Search for 100 
lines on either side of the thing... The input for this can be the entire 
partition on which the original file was located. Output the file to 
another partition...

And IIRC, there is some UNDELETE-HowTo/MiniHowTo...

Any Guesses?

(I am not able to provide the exact answers as my Linux HDD has crashed 
out...!)
