hi
i couldn't find the article on how to do that in Linux
gazette.While searching for that i found a very useful
script in linux gazette issue 8.In that if u do some thing
like
rm impfile
The rm is modified such that it will store the impfile
some where like /var/thrash/user_name/impfile.tar.(or
any name u would choose.)
and u can do "rm --restore impfile" or something similiar to
retrieve the impfile.
