Hi ;
    I recently recompiled the kernel for enabling
sound card support and disable NFS . Whenever I did a
minor modification of the kernel, I had to "make
bzImage". Its seem like take a whole process for
compiling everything even minor modification . Its
time consuming to make a whole compiling for a such
minor mofication.
     Is it alternative method to re-compile those
components have made changes ?

     I'm using ALI 15xx sound card. But I read the
Linux doc, this model seem like not mention in a Linux
sound card support list. Does somebody knows what
linux version support the above-mentioned sound card
hardware? I'm current using linux kernel 2.2.xx ?
     Where can I get the linux kernel 2.4 release ? I
visited the Linux home page , its seem like this
releases are still under testing ,right ?
