Hi Vicky;
It worked!!!
On friday, first I kept tinkering with Xdm configuration file in
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm directory and nothing worked. There is'nt a man page
on gdm and i believed it would be using xdm configuration file. Some how
while browsing through various files and documentation, I happened to look
at the file you mentioned and only enabled xdmcp yo 1. it started working
immediately on gdm restart.
what is the entry for honorindirect for?
Are you aware of any resources on Gnome where its documentation is
available?
Thanks for help

Rajdeep

LIH is all for free speech. But it was created
for a purpose. Violations of the rules of
this list will result in stern action.
