hi,
1) can somebody, tell what this DEVFS is. i found a reference to this while
installing the alsa drivers. there is a mention to it in the INSTALL file. i searched
for related doc of file systems. but i did not find any doc.
2) how do i get my X to work at 320x240 resolution. the moniter goes into stand by
mode. use XF86Setup to configure.
i have a cirrus logic card works fine all resolutions from 600X480 to 1024X768. i am
have 15" samtron 55 E model.
3) when i try to run mtv it says that broken pipe unable to play audio. use esddsp
mtv for example with gnome. any suggestions? the same works fine with the drivers of
time limited OSS. i have ymfpci card. and using the alsa drivers.
presently i am using kde.
