Hi,

I use RedHat 6.2 on a PII 300 MHz. Whenever I shutdown the system, it
proceeds smoothly until the last step, and suddenly it says "Kernel
unable to handle blah blah..." with a screenful of numbers. This does
not happen on the older Pentium boxes, where the message 'Power Down'
appears at the end. On my machine, it presumably is trying to power
down the system and my machine does not have such feature. This problem
has no serious consequence to work with Linux, but I would like to have
a clean shutdown. Is there any way to avoid this problem ?

Thanks,

Kumar...:)
