Hi Guys

I know that this subject has come up on this list in the past, but I could
not find out the solution while going thru the archives.

I have got a new 20.4 HDD (Seagate - ST320423A). I have installed Win
98/NT/2000 on it.
The partitions are as follows:
Pri : 956 M
D, E, F, G : all 2000 M

All the partitions are 2000 MB.

The usual problem crops up when I try to make the partitions using
disk-druid. One partition (either / or /boot) is not allocated the disk
space and shows up as an error. If I try to go beyond that point, the
installer just crashes.

Can anyone suggest the way out, apart from deleting the existing partitions?

TIA
