All free(s) are not Open source Just because of less in Open minded
endeavors.
I think CALTIGRE can be a good default i-Net connection for all Linux
Distribution.
But The problem is that CALTIGER is not meant for charity, they have to
do the business to exist.
But the mode of business is so cool that can be encouraged by giving them
support.
The present system of Cal Tiger Dial in process is not available in Linux
Desktop.
To Grab Desktop in M$ Windows, it is very straight forward way, just
because of the limitation in OS env.
But Linux gives us an extended environment, with multiple console, so
many desktops and others ... !!! also.
We can ensure an application that will lock everything and add an adv
Banner on GUI Desktop, and user can browse through Netscap and some other
apps. So by this, we can enjoy i-Net in free, and they also can survive
by doing business.
I have planned to build an apps for Caltiger AND Linux by my own, very
soon I would like to publish the Project plane of it in LIH list. ILUG(s)
and specially sister Calcutta-LUG <{:-)] are welcome in joint
development.
So, I like to know what are the features required, how we can contribute
and integrate the whole product and others if any. I need experts helps
and Mr. Caltiger's Consent to do it.
Mr. Caltigre's Den is in Calcutta, if Calcutta LUG can talked with them
and make an agreement on it, I promised to give all kind of technical
support for this development.
This development will be Open source and encryption on user login be will
done by Caltiger itself as close source. We all will be benefited by this
project. And from ILUG community we will officially handed over the total
project to Caltiger with FREE of cost. We Indian can do it, if we are UNITED.

kppp (Redhat 6.2). It works for VSNL but fails to authenticate in
caltiger. However through the Caltiger's connection wizerd I can get
online through Windows-95/98. Please help
