And that kernel will be closed source?? Maybe we can have a closed
source module but kernel (??)

The question is: Will someone be able to use text browser like lynx
if connected to caltiger? AFAIK the netscape does not have inbuilt
networking stuff, so if I can browse using netscape, I can do the same
using lynx.
And Caltiger will get a commerical licence for QT :) if they want
a closed source adbar.

And it will have to disable the telnet/ssh/rsh etc...and not allow
squid to run So that no one uses a 486 to act like a proxy for his home
network. And this means closing all the ports on the box. Hey, Is this the
price I have to pay for a free connection.
And what if someone uses vmware(tm) to boot linux in a window :)
(This is fool proof way I would say if someone only needs network
connection for browsing :-) You can already boot windoze in a window and
enjoy the free connection from caltiger, even while getting the full
functionality of linux.
