i tried to use the alsa driver which is on the aslsa-project.org the
latest one is 0.5.9d it did not work out for me i think the the latest
kernals support it try installing linux suse 7.0 or the latest rh 7 it may
configure it by its self will update you if i am successful in doing so
after the install.
