My advice, use fetchmail (a very reliable, sturdy, well documented, and widely used by Linux comunity) to poll your multiple pop account to get the mail at one place (in /var/spool/mail/mail or /var/spool/mail/root, possibly), then use Netscape messenger as your mail client (use movemail option to poll the local mailbox, in this case /var/spool/mail/mail or whatever it is). Apology to all, in this world of nice desktop like KDE/GNOME, pine or mutt or elm are just a pian in the neck!
