Hi, I had taken part in the IT.COM 2000 along with several other LUs, while I was there, the event conductors for Technoworld 2000 (Nov 27-30, 2000), approached me through Roshan of Lateral Software to express the suggestion of iLUG taking part. The space part has been partially dealt with. The hardware will be sponsored by Lanware-India, and the theme is suggested as "Linux for Desktops". We would be displaying the various capabilites like, multimedia, VCD, 3D Animators, Office Apps, Page Layout apps etc. If one of you got a trial of Corel Office Apps, please try to donate it, for installation. We need suggestions, man power etc. The BLUG guys (two) are expected to take up some seminars, hopefully free, we need a venue sponsor. If one of you can arrange for a sponsorship of a good venue, that would be grand. Just call me, since I have assumed co-ordinator for the iLUG presence in this event.
