hi sukrit,
this is a typical RH7 & i810 problem. the easy soln is don't switch between gui
and console in rh7+i810. To get back kde, please delete all the temp files kde
made at /tmp using rm -rf. If needed, also clear the conf files of kde made in
the login directory.
To access a dos partition, first create a dir for mount using
mkdir /mnt/dos
then mount the dos partition using the following
mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/dos
here, it is assumed that /dev/hda1 is ur dos partition. so the exact cmd will
be,
mount -t vfat /dev/<partition name> /mnt/dos
