Hello,
I have a system with an i810 chipset with 4MB VRAM. I recently purchased
RHL7 from IT.COM and ran the installation. everything went well. my hardware
was detected. i configured X after installtion as i was told to at the expo.
I ran kde. it ran well but everytime i tried to switch to another terminal
my screen just blanked and the system just froze. this happened 3-4 times.
then everytime i needed to switch terminals i shutdown kde and got back to
the promt. i could switch terminals without any problem.
Then all of a sudden, kde just won't appear. what happens is that the
bakground appears, nothing else, then the system just freezes.
Another thing i need help with is accessing my dos partitions.
