1. linux is not able to read my partition
table. i get the following error just before
disk durid & fdisk
partition table
corupt.
because of this i am not able to run either
disk durid or fdisk. linux takes me to a screen where it gives the following
error
traceback (innermost last):
file"/usr/bin/anaconda", line 312, in ? intf.run
(to do, test = test)
this is just a part of the error. the other lines
are just like these. how do i debug these errors?
linux stops the installation at this point.
i have a 'procom i810 motherboard, 4bi samtron
monitor, 20 gb harddisk. i have the linux 6.2 pc-quest cd.
2. also i have seen a lot of mails here on this
list ,having i810 motherboards, saying that durring their linux installation
their hardware was detected.
i have a 'procom i810 motherboard, 4bi
samtron monitor, 20 gb harddisk.why is it
that when i install linux my hardware is not detected. linux starts
the installation in text mode & does not detect my vga card.
why is it that with the same chipset, ie 810,
durring some installations linux the vga card & durring other installations
it dosn't.
