I am trying to configure mail on my computer for the nth time. Here are
few of my queries.
Here is my porcmail recipe.

* ^[EMAIL PROTECTED]
! abc
# abc is a user name on my computer and also an email add at post.com

! xyz
# xyz is my user name.
LOG=/var/log/procmail/proc.log

when fetching mail.. the following message is displayed after every
messae downloaded >>>
procmail: couldn't determine implicit lock file from "usr/sbin/sendmail"
what could be wrong? what does the message mean?

And last of all and not the least is a very peculiar problem. Everytime
I download mail, one of the mail goes missing and then arrives later -
sometimes after few hours sometimes after five ten minutes. I am using
pop3 locally cause my family members need to use it. So suppose there
are 20 mails I downloaded using fetchmail after which I press the get
mail icon in netscape it gets only 19 and after sometime after I have
logged in and out that other mail arrives. THis is very irritating.
Please help
Sorry for the long mail but I couldn't understand any of these things on
my own. Please guide
