I install Redhat 6.1 today.
I like to setup dialup networking with wvdial rather than rp3.
firstly I use # wvdial /etc/wvdial.conf but this give me some error so I
read wvdial man page.
and I configure my own way like as follows :-
[Dialer Default]
Phone = 63465456
Username = satyajit
Password = xxxx
New PPPD = yes
Modem = /dev/ttyS0
Baud = 57600
Init1 = ATZ
Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 S11=55 + FCLASS=0
This works for me in root and I browse with lynx in root for test.
now I give command in root # chmod u+s /usr/bin/wvdial for use my personal
user account.
now I try to dial in my user account . $wvdial
It's start dialing but suddenly disconnect.It's give me following error like
this :--

----> looks like a password prompt.

----> Disconnecting at Fri Nov 10 17:02:53 2000
Please someone help me to solve this problem.
