This should not happen. If I just select a theme and click on save and restart it
loads the newly selected theme. Even after restarting X the new theme selected remains.

This may be because for some applications mini icons are not available. On my system
also it happens for some KDE application on the menu. But these are very few.

Yes. I have installed zzplayer, but I don't watch movies in Linux since my video card
is SiS6215 using which I cannot see movies in 16 bit colour depth full screen under
linux. Prefer windos for this.

Nothing is needed to be linked to icewm. If you meant something like shortcut than
add in $HOME/,icewm/toolbar file the following :
prog "zzplayer" "zzplayer" zzplayer
^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^
discription icon file name Here you put the binary name
to be
displayed
when mouse
pointer is
on this icon
You can add any number of lines to this file in the above format for different
applications.
