Hi all,
Do you think C/C++ is dead because of the new languages like Java, C-Sharp
and other. Then you are absolutely wrong. (Don't ignore as is a statement of
a C & OpenSource lover :) ).
The hype of the Internet language Java will surely come down with the new
language called 'Internet C++', which is currently in the alpha stage. This
language currently available as a OpenSource for unix like OS's. This
language has all the feature of C++,
ie., speed/power combined with the support for internet. The follwoing are
some to name it.
1. Build One C/C++ Program - Run It Everywhere (strength of Java)
Compile your C/C++ programs once and to run on any platform supporting
Internet C++ (ICVM).
2. Write In Standard C/C++ (easy migration of the existing programs to
Internet without modifying single line of code)
You can have the real thing. Why program in proprietary languages, such
as Java and C-Sharp that are incompatible derivatives of C++? Tried and
tested standards, C and C++ are the most widely used programming languages
worldwide. With Internet C++, they come
with runtime portability.
3. Speed and Performance (strength of bull ie., C/C++)
Internet C++ brings speed, performance and portability, all in one
package. Internet C++ will bring Video Games, Interactive Entertainment, and
General Applications online,
to form the Future Application Base of The New Internet.
You belive it or not Internet C++ can even run 3D games like DOOM without
any loss in speed, which more or less impossible with Java & the current
system speed. Which you can verify by downloading from the below site.
4. OpenSource (you are always with strength)
As with all of the OpenSource softwares, full source code is available
for both Virtual Mechine (ICVM) and Compiler. Which helps anyone in the
world to improve the technology.
