[LIH] Oracle 9i database server! end of unix servers

Oracle 9i database server os is it end of exit of unix m/c from database segment?

oarcle is comeing out with 9i os which will be two things opearting system+database 
server.

it looks like any body goes high in the IT world try to kill the compitation ,please 
letme know your views on this
