     Don't worry, you most likely won't find a video card in your machine. 
Cyrix Media GX is an 'all in one processor. It does, video, audio and data 
processing. Unfortunately, although the Media Gx uses the systems ram as 
video-ram, it does not follow the agp standard. I have a compaq presario 
2110, running on Media GX 133. It's been virtually impossible to setup X on 
it. By the way, don't run linux with a precompiled 586 kernel. There a 
certain incompatabilities leading to crashes. Use the 386 kernel instead.

     Getting linux to run on this machine is a pain. If you have a PCI 
slots, try and obtain external pci graphics card. Have you tried setting up 
sound yet?
