Hi All,

I am trying to install RHL 6.1/6.2 on an AMD 486 . I think the default
kernel may not be configured for 486's. So I am going to compile my own
kernel. During installation I get the bash prompt but the installation
terminates midway due to incompatibility. Can I use the bash prompt to
compile my kernel? If yes how do I go about it?
