Hi Rajesh

IIRC, DRI is Direct Rendering interface for XF86 4, which allows efficient and hence
better direct video hardware access. For a workstation install or local run of X, this
should allow better hardware accelarated performance. Ideally better or equal to
windows.

Anyway Windows NT GUI, though deirectly rendered to hardware is not as fast as X. But
who cares... :-))

Bye
  Shridhar

P.S. The reply to address for this mail was not set. Was that because it was cc'ed to
LIH? Can it be done? It's convinient to have a reply to address... and that too to
IH...:-))

LIH is all for free speech. But it was created
for a purpose. Violations of the rules of
this list will result in stern action.
