Oops !! I forgot to mention that for some reason the gui install didn't
work. I thought this was strange coz I have a cirrus logic display card
which should be compatible with any known os. So it is text install by
default. What I am hoping to hear is that I can change the CD's during
install. I am not sure that i will be able to do so. Once a CD is
mounted it does not even eject.
I will try to upgrade glibc, ecgs, but it would mean me doing someting
like looking for any rpm file that seems to match ecgs, glibc and then
saying my prayers while "rpm -i" those files. Almost makes me feel like
taking half day off and hurrying home to try it out.
Regards,
mario
