was trying out an ircii compilation.
The trouble that i ran into while running the configure script is that it
could not get tgetent in libtermcap or libcurses and a couple of other
such libraries it checked.

But I went ahead with the makefile but finally got stuck when it could
not find the function tputs().
The thing is tputs is there in the libtermcap.so and libncurses. So is
there anyway I can modify the makefile so that it links with the shared
library.
I tried to give the -WL -rpath /usr/lib -lncurses
but it still cannot manage to find the library
Any suggestions
