[LIH] virtual ip binding

Hi
   friends, Can someone tell me about how i can bind the many IP's to the
one host like..

eth0:192.168.1.1
eth1:192.168.1.2
eth2:192.168.1.3

Also if i want how can i remove the eth2 ?
and what precaution should i take to do this on the online server.
please help
