Hi!
I am trying to install xfree86 4.0.1.

Before I could configure an XF86Config file I logged off and shut down
Linux. Since I was on runlevel 3 I expected to reboot and come back to
the command line prompt without X and continue. But the boot process
stopped midway at the "Starting X Font Server" point.

Is there a way of getting back into the system? I am using loadlin to
boot.
