I have installed linux 5 -6 times RedHat 6.0 and 6.2 .Never faced any
problem in configuring any thing .Some times only i had a problem in
configuring network card .But that was cleared .
My problem is that even after installing linux 5 -6 times i think i am not
quite sure as to what partitions one has to make .
I generally make swap partition as 200 mb and a / partition 1800mb (I have
a 2Gb hard disk ) That generally is enough what all type of partition can
/should one make at the begining .
What would be ideal way of partioning the disk
#if suppose i have to make a mailserver for 3000 users
#use the m/c as a proxy server for 300 users internet
#use te m/c as a web server
I would be doing it in a 10/20 gb harddisknot on the 2Gb hdd.
