Hi pervez,

You need to put entry as home dir's (sharename).
Leave the path to nill , permissions for the for the folder.

But the home dir should be exported in /etc/exports.

Regarding your earlier problem try on linux m/c smbclient -L <Smb
severname>(netbios)

you should get back the ip address of the samba m/c

Try nmblookup -d 2 *
this should list all your nt m/m + samba m/c

if this is not happening then put the static entry for win server(Wint
m/c) in smb.conf also include the ip address of samba server in wins as
static ,

If you are using Dhcp then it is bit difficult
