 Yes - and as most of these require rebooting, you have to have somebody
 standing by there.
 
 As your box is a colo, I would suggest asking your webhost to upgrade it for
 you - it will be far easier for you (upgrading / compiling kernels over a slow
 line is a PITA - if you use rpms it's a bit better)
