hello hello hello why why why,

when one can just put the name of script with the pipe "|" in pine's

ok I am adding a couple of more ways.

1) the alternate editor basically calls the supplied program and passes it
the filename of the mail being edited. So have the following lines in a
script

fortune -s >>$1

name it say "add_sig"

enable alt editor and editor = add_sig (entire path)

2) enable sending-filters in pine configuration to append a signature on
the out going file ( wont be able to see whts gettng appended)

Ok just another one ( havent tried it). Make a fifo which has fortune
writing to it. But the file needs to be blocked after one message has been
sent and unblocked when empty.
