I have used sx_firmaware also which produced the same output. This
installation actucally has been done with instructions from an installation
guide for SX+ from Perlespecilaix site. Both sxboot and sx_firmaware are to
load the firmware to the card..

The specialix_sxutilities-xxxx.rpm from the perlespecialix site has sxboot
and sxmkdev. The guide says to do
sxboot
sxmkdev -f (in my case this gave an error) but the /dev entries were created
with the script (from sx.txt)

where I am now...?
