Sorry to put a generic unix question on linux list - but it is urgent for
me.
I have a problem with many variants of unix (sun, ncr etc.)
The problem is when I try to attach a file with a mail message by command
$ uuencode dd dd1.txt | mailx [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I receive the mail, that also with tha attachment but the file is a single
line text where all the linefeed characters are converted into some other
character. I am tring to attach a simple and small text file. I have tried
ftp the file from unix to my windows but there it comes okay, I think either
there is something with uuencode or mailx.
Can someone help me out, as due to this problem an important project is
getting delayed.
