i've just installed mandrake 7.2 on my system. the install went fine and the chipset was recongnised. everything was working (sound and graphics...) perfectly until the 3rd or 4th reboot.(the 1st one after booting into windows). then the sound was gone. at startup there was something written in the script. and it couldnt load the soundcard. which btw is still workin fine in windows. upon playing a sound it says somethin' like," device or driver busy... blah blah blah...". my card model is : intel coproration 82801 AA AC'97 Audio. ---------------------------------------------- Find out more about this and other Linux India mailing lists at http://lists.linux-india.org/
