happens - maybe you sent it twice, maybe your mailserver timed out just after
sending the message and it didnt get flushed from the spool, so it was resent,
maybe this happened on the egroups server ... completely random, difficult to
guess / check without checking up logs. Ignore it unless it recurs.

1.1.99 (which comes with kde2.x is nice). You can upgrade KDE

Balsa can be downloaded from linuxberg, freshmeat etc. As for cscmail, the
"some other files" are just perl modules, which can all be obtained from
cpan.org. To install them, just untar, run perl Makefile.PL, make, make test,
make install

mutt is easy to install - use it. or if you are more comfortable with pine,
even pine supports multiple identities / profiles
