Get a bootdisk - or use something like the SuSE cd (if you have it). When you
boot in, YAST will ask you whether you want to install / upgrade linux, or boot
into a previous partition. Give your root partition there. That _is_ a
bootdisk of sorts anyway - so yeah, you are right, I think :)
